About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Islay Wools collection is a substantial 372 gsm textile with a usable width of 140 cm, making it well suited to upholstery. The very small 1.5 cm vertical and horizontal repeat suggests a restrained woven pattern that stays quiet at a distance and reveals texture up close. In Pewter Grey, the cloth reads as a muted, slightly cool grey with a gentle heathered softness rather than a hard metallic shine. The tight 27.5 threads per cm help create the crisp, dense handle visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use this pewter grey on a sofa, bench or desk chair to bring a neat, architectural feel without going stark. It also works well with pale oak, chalky whites and deep navy for a layered, modern scheme.
