Furley Pewter
Essential Weaves Vol 1 FabricEWV1FURLEY
Furley Pewter is a softly mottled grey weave with a fine dotted texture that reads calm and understated in the light. The small-scale surface gives it a quietly tailored look.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% polyester, Furley Pewter is a light domestic upholstery and drapery fabric with an 18,000 rub test and a usable width of 140cm. The surface shows a dense field of tiny dark grey specks over a pale pewter ground, creating a subtle textured effect rather than a bold pattern. Its 240gsm handle and 336g per linear metre give it enough substance for seating cushions and occasional upholstery, while still remaining suitable for curtains and blinds. The overall tone is cool and muted, with the darker flecks adding depth and a softly peppered finish.
How to use it
Use this pewter colourway to anchor neutral interiors where you want texture without strong contrast. It pairs well with pale oak, chalky whites and charcoal accents, and sits especially neatly in a smart, layered scheme.
A versatile muted grey that works neatly across upholstery and curtains.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Furley Pewter without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
