Epworth Ice

Essential Weaves Vol 2 FabricEWV2EPWORTH

Epworth Ice is a cool, pale grey stripe with a clean, quiet finish that feels light and tailored. The narrow vertical wavy lines give the swatch a subtle movement rather than a hard graphic edge.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Epworth Ice is supplied as drapes only and has a 140cm width, making it suited to window treatments rather than upholstery. The design shows a fine small-scale stripe with gently undulating lines, read here in a soft ice-grey ground with slightly darker grey detailing. At 378gsm, it has a reassuringly substantial handle for curtains, while the 9cm vertical pattern repeat and 1.5cm horizontal repeat support a neat, disciplined look. The overall effect is cool, restrained and fresh, with the raised linear texture catching the light just enough to keep the surface from feeling flat.

How to use it

Use Epworth Ice in rooms that need a calm, polished backdrop: its pale grey tone works especially well with white paint, chrome, black accents or soft timber. It will suit relaxed contemporary interiors and smarter schemes that benefit from a subtle stripe.

A crisp, understated stripe that keeps windows looking calm and tailored.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Epworth Ice without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
