About this fabric
Woven in 68% Recycle Polyester, 26% Cotton and 6% Polyester, Blakesley Silver is specified for drapes only and has a substantial weight of 315 gsm. The cloth shows a pale silver ground with a delicate tonal pattern that appears almost etched into the surface rather than sharply printed. Its low-contrast, misty finish gives the fabric a smooth, slightly pearled look, while the repeated undulating motif adds movement without feeling busy. With a width of 140cm and a 28cm vertical repeat by 24cm horizontal repeat, it is designed for elegant curtain drops where the texture can be seen in soft daylight.
How to use it
Use Blakesley Silver for floor-length curtains, sheers-with-weight alternatives or relaxed interlined drapes in rooms that need a cooler, cleaner light. Its pale silver tone works especially well with white paintwork, oak, smoked glass and brushed metal finishes.
A cool, light-reflective silver that suits tailored curtains and calm layered interiors.

Pairs well with
Blakesley Silver is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
