Buckby Latte

Essential Weaves Vol 3 FabricEWV3BUCKBY

Buckby Latte is a softly textured botanical with a washed, latte-toned ground and a delicate vertical leaf-and-stem effect. The design reads quiet and airy, with the motif barely lifting from the surface for a subtle layered look.

About this fabric

Buckby Latte from Ashley Wilde’s Essential Weaves Vol 3 is a drapes-only fabric made from 68% recycle polyester, 26% cotton and 6% polyester. At 142cm wide and 225gsm, it has enough substance for a graceful curtain drop while still feeling light in tone. The swatch shows a warm beige base with an understated taupe-beige pattern that looks gently distressed rather than sharply printed. Its vertical pattern repeat of 41cm and horizontal repeat of 23.5cm create a soft trailing botanical rhythm that feels calm and easy to live with.

How to use it

Use this latte shade to soften bedrooms, living rooms or dining spaces where you want the pattern present but low-contrast. It works especially well with oak, chalky whites, boucle textures and other natural neutrals.

A soft, neutral botanical that layers easily with timber, linen and painted finishes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Buckby Latte without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
