Marseilles Fawn

Monterey Collection FabricMARSEILLES

Marseilles Fawn shows a refined vertical stripe on a soft fawn ground, with narrow darker lines that give the fabric a calm, tailored rhythm. The overall effect is warm and understated rather than bold.

About this fabric

Woven in 50% polyester and 50% cotton, Marseilles Fawn has the balanced handle expected of a versatile upholstery textile, while the 30000 rub test supports general contract use. The 140cm width and 7.5cm horizontal pattern repeat make the stripe practical for larger projects, including drapes and cushions as well as seating. Visually, the colourway reads as a gentle beige-fawn with cool taupe-grey striping and a creamy background that softens the contrast. The fine vertical lines create a neat, smart look without feeling stiff, and the cloth sits in a substantial 552gsm / 394gsm weight that suggests dependable body.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring quiet structure to banquettes, dining chairs or relaxed curtains, especially where you want warmth without heaviness. It pairs neatly with oak, limestone and muted green accents for a softly tailored scheme.

A warm neutral stripe that feels tailored and works beautifully with natural woods.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Marseilles Fawn without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
