Calvia Sand

Palma Collection FabricCALVIA

Calvia Sand shows a small-scale traditional leaf motif in soft sand beige, set in a neat all-over repeat on a pale ground. The effect is calm and tailored, with enough pattern to add interest without overpowering a room.

About this fabric

Woven in Spain from 85% cotton and 15% linen, Calvia Sand is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 45,000 rub test that supports demanding use. The fabric has a crisp, decorative feel and a gentle natural texture visible in the fine outline of the leaf motif and the lightly tonal ground. Its 140cm width makes it practical for both furnishings and window projects, while the 364gsm weight gives it a reassuring, mid-weight presence. The 8cm vertical repeat and 5.5cm horizontal repeat create a compact, regular pattern that reads orderly and traditional rather than bold.

How to use it

This warm sand colourway works well with oak, rattan and pale painted wood, especially in rooms that need a softer classic look. Use it on a tailored armchair or relaxed drapes where the small repeat can add subtle rhythm without darkening the space.

A neat, classic leaf motif that suits refined schemes and layers easily with timber and neutral upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
