Galatzo Aegean

Palma Collection FabricGALATZO

Galatzo in Aegean has a fine, tightly worked chevron-like check that reads crisp and orderly across the surface. The colour is a muted blue-green with a soft mineral cast, giving the pattern a cool, understated presence.

About this fabric

Woven in Spain from 85% cotton and 15% linen, this fabric is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 45,000 rub test that supports demanding use. The small-scale pattern is visible as a dense zigzag grid, and in this Aegean colourway the contrast stays low, so the design feels subtle rather than bold. Its 140 cm width and 260 gsm weight suggest a substantial cloth with enough body for seating as well as a neat hanging on curtains. The tone sits between teal and grey, with a slightly chalky softness that lifts the surface and keeps it from feeling too dark.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair or banquette where the small pattern can add movement without overwhelming the room. The cool Aegean tone pairs well with pale oak, limestone, and brushed metal for a tailored, coastal feel.

A cool, quietly patterned cloth that brings crisp texture to tailored seating or refined curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
