Omari Collection FabricOMARI

Omari Teal is a smooth plain in a muted sea-teal tone, with a quietly even finish that reads fresh rather than bright. The colour has a cool, softened depth that gives the surface a restful, contemporary feel.

About this fabric

This Omari Collection fabric is made from 100% polyester and is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 40,000 rub test and a 145cm width. Visually it presents as a solid teal with a softened green cast, more subdued than a jewel tone and not overly grey, so the colour feels balanced and usable across large surfaces. The cloth appears neatly woven and plain, with a clean, close texture that supports the smart, practical character suggested by its contract specification. At 464 grams per linear metre and 320 grams per square metre, it sits firmly in a robust upholstery-and-drapery category rather than a delicate decorative cloth.

How to use it

Use this teal on a tailored armchair, banquette or headboard where the colour can anchor a scheme without feeling heavy. It also works well for full-length curtains against pale walls, where its cool muted depth will look especially crisp in natural light.

A calm teal plain that suits tailored upholstery or clean-lined drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
