Jules River

Provence Collection FabricJULES

Jules River has a quietly weathered look, with narrow vertical stripes standing out against a muted teal-blue ground. The slubbed texture gives the surface a softly aged, almost chalked finish.

About this fabric

Woven in India from 67% polyester and 33% cotton, Jules River is a fabric designed for drapes only and has a substantial 240gsm handle. The stripe repeat is 21.5cm vertically and 23.5cm horizontally, creating a regular small-scale rhythm across the cloth. In this colourway, the background reads as a subdued teal with grey undertones, while the lighter vertical threads bring a slightly sun-faded, tactile contrast. At 140cm wide, it suits curtains that need a tailored but relaxed decorative finish.

How to use it

Use this muted teal stripe for lined curtains in rooms that call for a calm, smart coastal note. It pairs especially well with pale woods, chalky neutrals and brushed metals.

A refined small stripe with a softly weathered teal ground and pale slubbed contrast.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
