Medway Aqua

Brett Weaves FabricF4646-01

Medway Aqua has a softly textured, small-scale woven surface with a cool aqua cast and a gentle heathered look. The close weave gives it a refined, quietly tailored feel rather than a bright or glossy one.

About this fabric

Medway Aqua from the Brett Weaves collection by Colefax and Fowler is a 142cm-wide fabric with a composition of 44% viscose, 30% cotton, 14% linen and 12% polyester. The swatch shows a compact woven structure with a fine basket-like texture, where pale aqua and soft grey threads sit closely together to create a muted, slightly chalky finish. Its colour reads cool and restrained, with just enough depth to keep the surface from feeling flat. The repeat is V 22cm / H 18cm approx, which supports a patterned weave that still feels disciplined and easy to place in a room. Fire code √BM and care code Q 8 < T 3 are listed for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this muted aqua to bring a cool, polished note to upholstered chairs, cushions, or curtains in light oak, pale stone, or brushed nickel schemes. It pairs especially well with whitewashed woods and soft greys, where the woven texture can do the quiet decorative work.

A cool, understated aqua that works beautifully across tailored upholstery and relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
