About this fabric

This Brett Weaves fabric from Colefax and Fowler has a calm, lightly mottled appearance that keeps the colourway from feeling flat. In Foley Sand, the beige base is lifted by pale cream and muted taupe threads, giving the cloth a sun-warmed, slightly chalky finish. The composition of 46% cotton, 32% viscose, 18% linen and 4% polyester adds to that dry, tactile look while keeping the surface refined. With an approximate width of 142cm, a straight repeat of 0cm vertically and horizontally, and no performance features noted, it is a practical decorative cloth with a natural, relaxed handle.

How to use it

Use Foley Sand to bring warmth to pale oak, limestone and brushed brass schemes without adding visual weight. Its muted sandy tone is especially effective on upholstered armchairs, ottomans or relaxed curtains where a soft neutral backdrop is wanted.

A warm neutral that works quietly across both tailored seating and softly lined drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
