About this fabric

This Sand colourway reads as a light sandy beige, with subtle cream highlights and faint taupe variation visible between the horizontal fibres. Its delicate linear texture catches the light unevenly, giving the otherwise plain surface a softly layered appearance. The supplied usable width is 68.6 cm, with no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, so the texture remains continuous across the wall. Each standard length is 10.05 m, and the stated weight is 319 gsm.

How to use it

Pair this warm, low-contrast sand tone with pale oak, chalky whites and natural linen for an airy room, or use it to soften darker timber and muted taupe upholstery. Its non-directional, repeat-free surface is well suited to broad feature walls where the texture can be seen at changing angles of light.

Use this softly textured sand tone to create calm, light-reflective walls behind natural timber, linen and warm neutral furnishings.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Chronicle Wide Width Sand without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
