About this fabric

The colour reads as a muted warm beige with taupe depth, while the cooler grey-blue threads temper the overall tone and keep it from appearing flat. Fine diagonal lines form compact interlocking geometric blocks across the surface, giving the fabric a structured, quietly architectural character. At 690gsm and 85 threads per centimetre, it has a substantial, closely woven handle suited to upholstery. The usable width is 138cm, and the supplied pattern-repeat specification is 0cm vertically and horizontally.

How to use it

Use Vitto Seashell on a tailored sofa, dining chair or headboard where its dense weave can provide quiet pattern without dominating the room. Its warm beige-taupe base works especially well with natural timber, chalky neutrals and restrained blue-grey accents.

Use this weighty, finely textured neutral on occasional chairs, sofas or headboards, pairing it with warm wood and soft blue-grey accents.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Vitto Seashell without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
