About this fabric

The dense weave reads as a cool, softened neutral from a distance, while closer inspection reveals the layered teal, coral and green zigzags. At 690 gsm and 85 threads per centimetre, it has the substantial visual and physical presence expected of an upholstery cloth. The fabric has a 138 cm usable width and a standard length of 30 m. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are supplied as 0 cm, allowing the close all-over texture to be handled without a stated repeat allowance.

How to use it

Pair Vitto Urchin with warm grey, chalk or pale timber finishes to draw out its quiet grey-beige ground, or use the muted teal and coral flecks as restrained accent colours. It is especially suited to tailored chairs, occasional seating and upholstered panels where the fine geometric texture can be seen up close.

Use this dense, finely coloured weave to bring subtle teal, coral and green movement to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
