WAter Iris Peacock/Copper

Kensington Walk Fabrics FabricZOF0060-03

WAter Iris Peacock/Copper combines a warm ivory ground with loose, painterly marks in peacock blue-green, copper, taupe and charcoal. The softly layered colour gives the pattern a weathered, artistic depth rather than a crisp, graphic finish.

About this fabric

The design is formed from repeated petal-like and brushstroke motifs, with saturated peacock accents appearing beside burnished copper and smoky charcoal marks. Its warm ivory base keeps the overall colourway light, while the darker strokes add definition and rhythm across the cloth. The pattern has a 67 cm vertical repeat and a 91 cm horizontal repeat, creating a medium-scale layout with clear movement. At 138 cm usable width and 265 gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use the ivory ground as a light neutral backdrop, then pick out the peacock blue-green in piping, painted furniture or cushions. Copper and taupe accessories will reinforce the colourway’s warm, softly aged character without competing with the painterly pattern.

Use the cool peacock and warm copper accents to bring painterly colour to upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
