About this fabric

The 265gsm cloth features a repeating iris design in cool blue, smoky charcoal and muted taupe-brown against a warm ivory background. The darker petals and stems create gentle depth without overwhelming the pale ground, while the blue remains softened rather than highly saturated. Its 67cm vertical repeat and 91cm horizontal repeat give the floral arrangement a clearly measured rhythm across the 138cm usable width. The supplied specification also records 84.4 threads per cm and a 60m standard length.

How to use it

Use this cool ivory, ink-blue and charcoal colourway on a reading chair, headboard or full-length curtains where its painterly blooms can be seen at close range. Balance the blue-grey depth with chalky walls, pale timber and charcoal or taupe accents.

A cool, painterly iris floral that brings soft blue and charcoal definition to an ivory ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
