About this fabric

This upholstery fabric has a dense, expressive design of palm-like leaves and angular brushstrokes, with cool teal highlights cutting through deep brown and plum shadows. Pale stone and zest accents lift the darker ground, while the uneven painterly marks give the pattern visible depth and movement. At 305 gsm with 120 threads per cm, it has a substantial woven presence suited to statement upholstery. The 142 cm usable width and large 129 cm vertical by 71 cm horizontal repeat make the foliage scale especially impactful across furniture.

How to use it

Use the cool marine tones to anchor a statement armchair, headboard or sofa, then draw out the plum and ochre accents with plain cushions, aged timber and warm brass. Its dark botanical depth works particularly well against softly chalky neutrals.

Use this richly layered colourway on a statement chair or sofa, balanced with warm wood and quiet neutral walls.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
