Amber Indigo/Yellow brings a fresh, decorative floral trail to a pale ground, with indigo leaves and stems balancing soft yellow and blue flower heads. The overall effect is bright but restrained, giving the print a gentle, airy rhythm.

About this fabric

This Azara fabric by Jane Churchill is woven in 51% cotton and 49% linen, with an approximate width of 138cm and a vertical repeat of 32cm and horizontal repeat of 69cm. The print shows a scrolling botanical design in indigo, soft yellow and pale blue, set on an off-white ground that keeps the palette light and easy to read. The linen-rich surface gives the colourway a slightly relaxed, natural feel rather than a flat or glossy finish. Its mix of cool indigo outlines and warm yellow accents makes the design feel crisp and cheerful without becoming overly bright.

How to use it

Use it for feature curtains, cushions or an accent chair where the pale ground can keep a room feeling open. It works especially well with chalky whites, painted navy details or weathered oak, which suit the fabric’s fresh indigo-and-yellow balance.

Pair with crisp neutrals or pale timber to let the indigo leaves and yellow florals stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
