About this fabric

This fabric is from Jane Churchill’s Cabrera Stripes collection and is woven in a 42% cotton, 27% viscose, 23% polyester, 8% linen blend. The cloth measures approximately 140cm wide, with a repeat of V 41cm / H 70cm approx, giving the check a clear but not overwhelming scale. In this colourway, the red reads as a slender, steady accent while the green adds a cooler thread, both softened by the pale ground and the textured weave. The surface has a dry, textile feel with enough structure to sit neatly on upholstery, while still remaining suitable for drapery where a tailored look is wanted.

How to use it

Use it for an armchair, ottoman or Roman blind where the red-and-green check can add character without dominating the room. It sits especially well with warm wood, painted cream joinery and quiet neutral plains.
