Leyla Ceylan

Alba FabricM4075-03

Leyla Ceylan is a lively scenic cotton on a cream ground, scattered with painterly pavilions, trees and figures in soft blues, greens and touches of ochre. The overall effect is airy and decorative, with the colours sitting gently rather than shouting.

About this fabric

Printed on 100% cotton, this fabric has a generous repeat of approximately V 95cm / H 135cm and a width of approximately 135cm, which suits its expansive scenic layout. The cream background keeps the palette light, while the blue, green, lilac and warm terracotta details give the design a fresh, slightly romantic character. The motif feels crisp enough to read clearly, but the tones are softened so the scene never looks harsh. It is a characterful fabric that brings movement and story to a room without losing its elegance.

How to use it

Use Leyla Ceylan for curtains where the full landscape can be appreciated, especially in rooms with pale walls and simple upholstery. Its soft multicolour palette works well with painted woods, natural linens and relaxed traditional interiors.

Use it for statement curtains or occasional upholstery where the embroidered-look palette can take centre stage.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
