Tapestry Garden Pink/Green

Ashdown FabricF4831-04

A soft, painterly garden of pink blooms and cool green foliage spreads across this linen ground. The palette is airy and muted, with just enough colour to feel fresh rather than sugary.

About this fabric

Tapestry Garden Pink/Green is woven in 100% linen, with an approximate width of 141cm and a large repeat of V 59cm / H 141cm, so the design is intended to make an impact across broader areas. The swatch shows loose, botanical florals in chalky pinks, leaf green and touches of pale blue and yellow, all sitting on a warm cream background. The linen surface gives the print a lightly textured, matte look that softens the edges of the flowers and keeps the whole pattern relaxed. With no performance features noted, it feels best suited to decorative interiors where the hand of the cloth and the garden-like colour balance can be appreciated.

How to use it

This colourway works beautifully in rooms that need a gentle lift, especially against painted whites, mushroom neutrals or faded green walls. Use it for relaxed curtains, loose covers or a statement armchair where the pinks can read as rosy highlights rather than a strong accent.

Use with simple plains to let the painterly garden motif and gentle linen texture take the lead.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tapestry Garden Pink/Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
