Strawberry Thief Embroidery Apple/Blue

Strawberry Thief Embroidery Apple/Blue brings a light cream ground to the familiar bird-and-foliage design, with cool blue flowers balanced by apple green and russet details. The closely arranged pattern has a softly intricate, textile-led appearance across the swatch.

About this fabric

The 343gsm weight gives this fabric a substantial presence for upholstery, while the 130cm useable width offers practical coverage. Its 32.5cm vertical repeat and 26cm horizontal repeat create a compact, medium-scale layout of birds, curling stems, leaves and small flowers. Against the warm cream background, blue-grey floral marks provide the coolest notes, while apple green foliage and muted russet accents give the pattern gentle depth. The standard length is 35m, making this a considered option for coordinated furnishing schemes.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a reading chair, bench or occasional seat, pairing the cream ground with natural timber and picking out the blue flowers in cushions or painted joinery. Russet and apple accents can add warmth without overpowering the pale, airy background.

A detailed cream-ground Morris design suited to upholstered seating where its blue, green and russet accents can be appreciated up close.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Strawberry Thief Embroidery Apple/Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
