Mallow weave Plum combines a dusty berry-plum ground with a closely packed floral and scrolling-leaf pattern. Pale pink woven highlights pick out the flowers and foliage, giving the surface a softly aged, tonal appearance.

About this fabric

The design is filled with small clustered blossoms, curling stems and leafy sprigs, layered across the plum-coloured ground rather than set out as isolated motifs. Its tonal pink-on-plum colouring keeps the floral detail richly visible while the subdued berry shade avoids a bright or sugary effect. This 264gsm fabric has a 140cm usable width and a 35m standard length, with a pattern repeat of 38.5cm vertically and 70cm horizontally. The versatile mid-weight construction makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery where a dense floral texture is wanted.

How to use it

Pair Mallow weave Plum with oatmeal, antique cream or muted rose for a softly layered scheme; its deep berry tone is especially effective on an occasional chair, roman blind or full-length curtain.

Use the dusty plum ground to bring soft berry depth to upholstery, curtains or cushions, balanced with warm neutrals and faded pinks.
