About this fabric

The swatch reads as a rich petunia purple, deepening towards aubergine in the darker areas while remaining distinctly cool in tone. Its closely woven surface has a restrained diagonal grain rather than a bold contrasting motif, allowing the colour to remain the focus. At 271gsm and 137cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The design has a 36.5cm vertical repeat and a 34.5cm horizontal repeat for planning pattern placement.

How to use it

Use Spectrum Petunia to bring concentrated, cool-toned depth to a reading chair, occasional upholstery or full-length curtains, balancing it with warm timber, soft neutrals or aged brass.
