Argyle Amethyst shows a fine all-over diamond weave in a soft amethyst plum tone. The small-scale pattern reads crisp and understated rather than bold.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this Ashley Wilde fabric is specified for drapes only and has a width of 140cm. The small geometric/abstract surface is built from a tight diamond repeat, with the pattern sitting close to the cloth for a neat, tailored look. In this colourway the shade lands as a muted amethyst plum with a cool, smoky depth that softens the contrast of the motif. At 270gsm and 378 grams per linear metre, it has a substantial curtain weight without looking heavy. The 3cm vertical repeat and 2cm horizontal repeat keep the design compact and easy to read across windows.

How to use it

Use this plum-leaning tone for full-length curtains where you want colour without brightness; it works especially well against pale stone, taupe, or charcoal finishes. The small diamond texture adds interest in a room that already has smooth upholstery or simple joinery.

Pair with warm neutrals and dark timber for a refined, quietly patterned window treatment.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
