About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and suited to severe contract upholstery and drapes, Dakota Orchid offers a practical performance profile with a 60,000 rub test and a generous 147cm width. The surface visible here has a lightly striated, linen-like texture that catches the light unevenly, giving the lilac-pink ground more depth than a flat solid. The colour sits in a muted orchid register, with cool mauve notes and a soft powdery finish that keeps it calm and wearable. At 300gsm, it reads as a substantial textile with enough body for seating as well as curtains.

How to use it

Use Dakota Orchid to soften contemporary upholstery, especially on clean-lined chairs or banquettes, where its muted lavender-pink brings colour without shouting. It also works beautifully for tailored drapes in bedrooms or living spaces that need a gentle, romantic wash of tone.
