About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Dakota Lapis is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, making it a practical choice for both seating and window treatments. The fabric has a substantial handle at 441gsm, and its 60,000 severe contract rub test confirms it is built for demanding interiors. Visually, the surface shows a pale blue-grey lapis shade with irregular crosswise flecking that softens the overall colour and adds depth without a pronounced pattern. The 147cm width makes it efficient for larger upholstery runs and full-length drapery alike, while the textured plain style keeps the finish clean and contemporary.

How to use it

Use Dakota Lapis where you want a cool, composed accent that won’t overwhelm a room, such as tailored sofas, armchairs or relaxed curtains. It works especially well with chalky neutrals, pale timber and darker blue details for a layered, coastal-modern feel.
