Valence Wedgewood

Caversham Collection FabricVALENCE

Valence in Wedgwood has a calm, airy blue ground with a crisp ivory abstract leaf motif running in vertical waves across the cloth. The overall effect is fresh and neatly patterned, with a cool tonal depth that feels light rather than heavy.

About this fabric

This colourway of Valence from the Caversham Collection is made from 100% polyester and is specified for drapes only, with a 140cm width and a substantial 315gsm weight. The design uses a geometric/abstract rhythm of slender, organic lines that repeat every 25cm vertically and 22cm horizontally. In Wedgwood, the background reads as a softly muted powder blue, while the raised-looking ivory pattern adds clean contrast without feeling stark. The fabric has a smooth, even surface that lets the pale motif sit sharply against the cooler ground, giving it a tailored yet relaxed finish.

How to use it

Use this Wedgwood shade for full-length curtains in bright, north-facing rooms where the cool blue can feel crisp and restful. It pairs neatly with white trim, pale oak and brushed silver accents, especially when you want pattern without visual weight.

A cool, easy blue that gives the graphic leaf lines a fresh, tailored feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
