Hastings Danube

Belvoir Collection FabricHASTINGS

Hastings Danube shows a softly faded country scene in layered denim and slate blue, with pale trees and deer standing out across the cloth. The washed, atmospheric colouring gives the design a calm, slightly weathered character.

About this fabric

Woven in 51% cotton and 49% polyester, this fabric is specified for drapes only and has a width of 140cm, with a 73.5cm vertical repeat and 70cm horizontal repeat. The surface reads as a lightly textured cloth rather than a flat print, which suits the misty, layered effect of the trees and deer. In Danube, the palette is cool and subdued, with blue-grey ground tones and softer pale accents that lift the motif without making it feel sharp. At 302 grams per linear metre, it has enough substance to hang with presence while still feeling appropriate for window dressings.

How to use it

Use this blue colourway for full-length curtains in rooms with natural timber, chalky paint and linen upholstery. Its muted depth works especially well where you want a scenic pattern that feels calm rather than bold.

Layer with pale linen and warm timber to let the cool blue scene stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
