About this fabric
Woven in 51% cotton and 49% polyester, this fabric is specified for drapes only and has a width of 140cm. The 302g per linear metre weight gives it a substance that helps the pattern hang with presence, while the 216g per square metre cloth still reads as a decorative furnishing fabric rather than an upholstery cloth. The colourway is a soft fawn beige with off-white detailing, so the animal and botanical motifs appear low-contrast and gently weathered. Its large vertical and horizontal repeats of 73.5cm and 70cm suit full-length curtains where the scenic bands can be seen clearly.
How to use it
Use Hastings Fawn for relaxed, country-inspired curtains, especially in rooms with painted woodwork, linen upholstery and natural timber tones. Its pale beige ground keeps the scene light and open, making it ideal where you want pattern without a heavy colour statement.
Best suited to elegant curtains where the pale fawn ground and fine wildlife motif can read softly in natural light.
