Baltic Fawn is a calm, light fawn beige with a smooth, understated surface and a softly diffused finish. In this colourway, the plain weave reads warm and gentle rather than stark or cool.

About this fabric

This colourway is made from 100% polyester and is specified for drapes only, with a generous 300cm width that suits wide curtain drops and streamlined window dressing. The cloth has a fine, even plain texture that lets the soft beige tone remain the focus, with the light catching it in a muted, matte way. Baltic Fawn sits in a warm neutral register, closer to sand and oatmeal than grey, so it feels quietly inviting rather than crisp. At 243 grams per linear metre and 81 grams per square metre, it has enough substance to hang neatly while still reading as a light, elegant curtain fabric. It is made in Italy and has no rub test result noted, which aligns with its decorative drapery use.

How to use it

Use Baltic Fawn for full-length curtains where you want a gentle neutral that won’t compete with timber, stone, or linen upholstery. Its soft warmth works especially well in rooms that need a lighter, more relaxed take on beige.

A warm, understated neutral that hangs softly and layers easily with natural textures.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
