Baltic Otter

Atlantic Collection FabricBALTIC

Baltic Otter reads as a cool stone taupe with a soft, even surface and a quietly tailored look in the folds. The wide-width drape falls in clean vertical lines, letting the colour sit calmly rather than feeling heavy.

About this fabric

Woven in Italy from 100% polyester, Baltic Otter is specified for drapes only and has no rub test rating, which fits its decorative curtain use rather than upholstery. At 300cm wide, it is well suited to full-length window treatments, and the 243 g/lm weight gives the cloth enough body to hang smoothly without appearing stiff. Visually, this colourway is a muted taupe-grey with an understated warmth that deepens slightly in the pleats and softens again on the flatter areas of the swatch. The plain style and fine, matte texture keep the finish quiet and contemporary.

How to use it

Use Baltic Otter for floor-skimming curtains, Roman blinds, or layered sheers where a measured taupe-grey will steady a room. It works especially well with oak, soft whites, and dark metal details, adding depth without introducing a strong colour note.

A restrained taupe that gives curtains a calm, tailored finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
