Messina Wallpaper Stone

Messina Wallpaper Stone places airy botanical sprays, butterflies and finely drawn leaves over a softly shaded stone greige ground. Cream flowers and muted taupe foliage give the colourway a calm, lightly antiqued appearance.

About this wallpaper

The pattern combines rounded clusters of small cream flowers with delicate stems, feathery blooms, butterflies and broad, softly outlined leaves. Against the cool stone background, the taupe and muted olive-grey details appear restrained rather than high-contrast, while the flower heads provide gentle depth. This design is made from 100% paper and has an approximate 52cm vertical and 52cm horizontal repeat. Its fine botanical drawing keeps the overall effect detailed but quiet, with the pale ground allowing the individual motifs to remain clearly visible.

How to use it

Use this soft greige colourway in a bedroom, hallway or sitting room where its cream blossoms and taupe foliage can sit alongside limewashed timber, natural linen and warm neutral upholstery.

Pair the soft stone ground with warm natural woods and quiet taupe or cream furnishings to echo the botanical detail.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
