About this fabric

Woven at 230gsm, this colourway has a softened sage-taupe ground that reads as a warm, understated neutral rather than a strong green. Pale acanthus leaves and curling stems create a flowing botanical pattern, while the tonal weave gives the cream and grey-beige details gentle depth. The pattern repeat measures 60cm vertically by 47cm horizontally, allowing the large scrolling motifs to be planned clearly across the 141cm usable width. It is supplied in a standard 35m length.

How to use it

Use the quiet sage-taupe tone on upholstery or full-length curtains where the pale foliage can sit against chalky walls, oatmeal linens and warm timber. Its low-contrast colouring suits rooms that want botanical detail without a bright or heavily patterned finish.

Pair the softened sage-taupe ground with chalky neutrals and natural timber for a quietly classic scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Acanthus Jacquard Natural without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
