Acanthus Weave Sage

Acanthus Weave Sage layers pale ivory acanthus leaves and curling stems over a softly greyed sage ground. The low-contrast colour balance gives the dense botanical weave a calm, lightly weathered appearance.

About this fabric

The woven ground is a quiet, greyed sage, overlaid with pale ivory acanthus leaves, curling stems and small scrolling details. At 305 gsm, it has a substantial mid-weight presence that suits both upholstery and drapery. The design repeats over 61 cm vertically and 46 cm horizontally, giving the leafy rhythm a clear, measured scale when planned across a length. With a 138 cm usable width and a 35 m standard length, it offers practical coverage for a considered scheme.

How to use it

Use this cool, muted sage colourway to soften a reading chair, headboard or pair of curtains, especially alongside warm timber and quiet ivory upholstery. Its pale foliage can also bring gentle definition to a room without introducing a strong contrast.

The softly greyed sage and ivory foliage suits relaxed upholstery, Roman blinds and full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
