Golden Lily Embroidery Dove

William Morris Weaves FabricCCF0763-01

Golden Lily Embroidery Dove pairs a pale, cool dove ground with densely arranged Golden Lily stems, leaves and flowers. Fine taupe, olive and muted gold detailing gives the surface a softly aged, low-contrast character.

About this fabric

The cream-dove background keeps this colourway light, while taupe-grey stems and subdued olive-gold petals add gentle definition rather than a bold contrast. The repeating floral trails run diagonally across the cloth, with curling stems, lilies and small scattered leaves visible throughout the 32.5cm repeat. At 375gsm, it has the substance of a versatile furnishing fabric, and its 130cm usable width suits both upholstered pieces and made-to-measure window treatments. The standard length is 35m, making it practical for coordinated multi-item schemes.

How to use it

Use the cool pale dove ground on a statement chair, bench or full-length curtains, then echo its muted olive and antique-gold accents in plain cushions, painted timber or aged brass.

Use this softly contrasted dove colourway to bring refined botanical detail to upholstered seating, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
