About this fabric

Woven at 425gsm, this substantial Clarke & Clarke fabric has the presence expected of an upholstery cloth. The image shows fine, closely spaced vertical stripes, with the pale raised lines catching the light against the muted antique cream background. Its pattern repeat is 4.6cm horizontally and 0cm vertically, allowing the stripes to run continuously across the 138cm useable width. Supplied in a standard 35m length, Bowfell Antique offers a softly structured neutral for chairs, headboards and other tailored upholstery.

How to use it

Use Bowfell Antique to upholster a classic armchair, bench or headboard where its warm cream-and-stone colouring can soften darker timber and aged brass. Pair it with chalky whites, oat tones and muted olive accents for a calm, considered room.
