Alaska Oyster

Alaska Collection FabricALASKA

Alaska Oyster is a very pale oyster cream with a quiet, even plain surface and a softly luminous finish. In the swatch, the colour reads warm and airy rather than stark white.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Alaska Oyster is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 45,000 severe contract rub test and a 146cm width. The cloth has a smooth plain appearance with a subtle, fine texture that lets the colour do the talking. In this colourway, the tone sits between ivory and oyster, giving it a gentle warmth without looking yellow or chalky. At 300gsm, it has enough substance to feel reassuring on seating while still being suitable for curtains and other soft furnishings. It is made in China and finished in a practical neutral that will sit easily alongside timber, stone and muted paint shades.

How to use it

Use Alaska Oyster where you want a light, tailored neutral that won’t feel cold against warmer finishes. It suits contract seating, bench cushions or drapes in calm, tonal interiors where a soft oyster white is needed.

A clean oyster tone that works beautifully on tailored upholstery and relaxed drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
