About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Alaska Mole is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 45,000 rub test and a 146cm width. The surface in this image looks even and restrained, with a gently matte finish rather than a strong sheen. Its taupe tone has a muted warmth, so it feels softer than a cool grey but still polished enough for contract interiors. At 300gsm, it has enough substance to hold its shape while remaining suitable for both seating and window use.

How to use it

Use Alaska Mole on streamlined sofas, banquettes or layered curtains where you want a low-contrast neutral with depth. Its warm taupe tone pairs well with timber, black accents and natural linens.

A versatile mushroom taupe that works neatly across seating and drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
