About this fabric
From the Alaska Collection by Ashley Wilde, Alaska Otter is woven in 100% polyester and specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes. The fabric has a plain style with a smooth, close surface and an understated finish that lets the subtle taupe colouring do the work. At 146cm wide and 300gsm, it feels substantial enough for seating yet still flexible for curtains and other window treatments. The 45,000 severe contract rub test confirms it is built for demanding interiors, while the soft brown-grey mushroom shade keeps it versatile and composed.
How to use it
Use Alaska Otter on an upholstered sofa, banquette, or smart occasional chair where its muted taupe will soften harder lines. It also works well for full-length drapes in rooms with oak, linen, or deep charcoal accents.
