About this fabric

This colourway reads as a deep scarlet red with a slightly wine-toned richness, giving the plain surface real depth rather than a flat block of colour. The finish appears smooth and compact, with a gentle nap-like softness visible in the light. Woven in 100% polyester, it is specified for Severe Contract Upholstery And Drapes and carries a 45,000 Severe Contract rub test, making it suitable for demanding interiors. At 146cm wide and 300gsm, it has the substance to hold its colour confidently across larger pieces while still working cleanly as drapery.

How to use it

Use this scarlet to bring warmth to a tailored chair, banquette or headboard, or let it frame windows in a room with dark woods and warm metallics. Its rich tone works especially well with charcoal, walnut and muted neutrals.
