About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Dakota Crimson is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, and its 60,000 rub test confirms the hard-wearing brief behind the cloth. The 147cm width and substantial 300gsm weight make it a practical choice for larger schemes, while the fabric’s texture appears dry, slightly brushed and intentionally variegated. Visually, the crimson shade has a sun-warmed, earthy edge rather than a blue-based red, so it feels deep and settled instead of sharp. The mottled surface helps soften the colour further, giving it a lived-in richness that suits both seating and window dressings.

How to use it

Use Dakota Crimson to bring a strong accent to an upholstered chair, banquette or headboard, where the textured finish will add interest in close view. It also works well as drapery in a room with natural woods, brass or soft neutrals, letting the muted crimson read as warm and tailored.
