About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Galaxy Claret is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 50,000 severe contract rub test and a 140cm width. The fabric has a fine, even surface that catches the light with a soft sheen, giving the claret tone extra depth without looking shiny. Its red-brown undertone keeps it grounded and sophisticated, making the colour feel richer and more restrained than a brighter berry shade. At 455gsm and 325gsm, it presents as a substantial cloth that suits considered, high-traffic interiors. Made in India, it is a plain design that relies on colour and finish rather than pattern for its impact.

How to use it

Use this shade to add warmth to statement upholstery, especially where you want a formal, cocooning feel. It also works beautifully as drapery against pale stone, taupe, or warm grey schemes, where the claret tone can stand out.
