Concept Claret brings a saturated claret ground together with fine, lighter red lines arranged in a tightly packed stepped maze. The velvet pile gives the wine-red surface noticeable depth, with subtle shifts between red and plum as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

This 585 gsm velvet has a deep claret tone that reads warm, saturated and richly dimensional rather than flat. Fine contrasting lines form continuous angular paths, creating a compact geometric rhythm across the surface; the vertical repeat is 16.5 cm and the horizontal repeat is 0 cm. With 65 threads per cm, the cloth has a dense, substantial handle suited to upholstery. Its 140 cm usable width and 25 m standard length provide practical dimensions for cutting coordinated upholstered pieces.

How to use it

Use the deep claret shade to give a statement chair, sofa or headboard a dramatic focal point, allowing the fine maze lines to add pattern without introducing another colour. Its dense 585 gsm construction makes it particularly suited to tailored upholstery and matching cushions.
