About this fabric

The claret colouring reads as rich and warm, with darker burgundy areas alongside subtle red highlights where the surface catches the light. Fine vertical striations create a gently directional, tactile appearance rather than a printed pattern. At 247 gsm and 140 cm wide, it is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to upholstery and drapery. The design has a 0 cm vertical and horizontal repeat, while the standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Pair Maculo Claret with warm timber, aged brass and muted neutrals to make its dark wine tone feel enveloping rather than stark. Used on a reading chair, sofa or generous curtain, the softly brushed surface adds restrained richness.
