Piper Red

Kingswood FabricJ0133-01

Piper Red is a vivid floral fabric with a warm raspberry-red ground and scattered blooms in yellow, blush, cream and soft olive. The pattern has a painterly, folkloric feel that reads bold and lively rather than flat.

About this fabric

Piper Red from the Kingswood collection by Jane Churchill is composed of 90% cotton and 10% viscose, with a width of approximately 140cm and a repeat of V 63cm / H 70cm approx. The visible ground is a strong raspberry red, which gives the trailing flowers and leaves real contrast and helps the pale creams, soft greens and touches of yellow stand out clearly. The print feels richly decorative, with the large-scale floral motif bringing movement across the surface. With no performance features noted, it suits interior schemes where colour and pattern are the main focus.

How to use it

Pair this bright red colourway with dark wood, painted neutrals or deep green accents to balance its richness. It works particularly well as a statement on an accent chair, cushions or full-length curtains where the floral repeat can be appreciated.

Use it to bring a vivid, decorative focal point to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
