Kingswood Red

About this fabric

Kingswood Red by Jane Churchill is a fabric with a large vertical repeat of approximately 79cm and an approximate width of 138cm, woven in 90% cotton and 10% viscose. In this colourway, the tree motif reads with a warm coral-red emphasis, softened by muted blue-grey trunks and fresh pale greens that keep the design feeling balanced. The ground appears creamy and open, so the pattern has room to breathe and the colour placement feels scenic rather than dense. With its cotton-rich handle and decorative scale, it suits statement curtains, blinds or upholstery where a tailored botanical look is wanted.

How to use it

This soft coral-red palette works well in rooms with pale walls, natural wood and brass accents, where the pattern can add colour without feeling harsh. It would also make a lively upholstery choice on a reading chair or occasional seat in a light, garden-inspired scheme.

Use it to bring a tailored, decorative lift to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
