Medina Stripe Red
Kansa Stripes FabricJ0225-03
Medina Stripe Red sets up a lively vertical rhythm of rust red, saffron and pale flax tones. The herringbone stripe detail gives the surface a woven, textured look with plenty of movement.

About this fabric
Medina Stripe Red from Jane Churchill’s Kansa Stripes collection is a 132cm-wide fabric with a repeat of V 30cm / H 33cm approx and a composition of 70% Cotton, 24% Polyester and 6% Linen. The stripe pattern reads as warm and energetic, with rusty red bands balanced by golden ochre and lighter natural threads that lift the design. Its woven chevron detail adds crispness and texture, so the surface feels tailored rather than flat. With Q 8 + T 3 care coding and √BM fire code, it is a practical decorative textile for rooms that need colour and structure.
How to use it
This colourway works especially well with walnut, aged brass and natural linens, where the red tones feel grounded rather than brash. Use it to add warmth to a reading chair, bench seat or lined drape in a room with otherwise quiet finishes.
Use on statement chairs or relaxed curtains to bring warmth and pattern without overpowering a room.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Medina Stripe Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
