About this fabric

Medina Stripe Teal from Jane Churchill’s Kansa Stripes collection is a 132cm wide fabric with a repeat of approximately V 30cm / H 33cm. Woven in 70% cotton, 24% polyester and 6% linen, it has the character of a dependable decorative cloth with a firm, usable handle. The design shows alternating teal bands and slender pale stripes, each edged with a herringbone-like tick, so the pattern reads smart and ordered rather than busy. The teal ground is deep and cool, while the lighter yarns bring a fresh greenish highlight that gives the stripe extra definition in the light.

How to use it

Use this teal stripe on a tailored armchair, window seat or cushions where the vertical line can add height and structure. It sits well with painted woods, chalky neutrals and brass details for a scheme that feels fresh but composed.

A tailored teal stripe that brings crisp contrast and a polished, versatile feel to classic or contemporary schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
